
Accepted File Formats
Listed here you will find the page layout and graphics programs most frequently used when files are produced for printing. We will, of course, do our best to accommodate your digital files when ordering, and have also provided a list of additional file types that are acceptable for submission. Please don’t hestitate to speak with an Account Manager with any questions for tips regarding the formats listed.

Preferred Layout Programs:

• Adobe InDesign
• QuarkXPress

Preferred Support Programs:

• Adobe Acrobat
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop

Accepted File Formats:


• Print Ready PDF's. This is the industry standard and most widely accepted file format.
• TIF, TIFF, JPG, JPEG, EPS, AI and PSD.
• When supplying these types of files, please make sure images are CMYK, 300 dpi and any type is outlined or embedded. If the project bleeds, please make sure you've included 1/8" bleed.
Other Programs:

We also accept the following native file formats but warn users of their unpredictability. While it is possible to produce print jobs with these programs, their main purpose is not to produce high quality print jobs—or they have been discontinued entirely.

• Microsoft Publisher (PC only), CorelDRAW (PC only), Macromedia FreeHand (discontinued), Adobe PageMaker (discontinued).
